On December 15, 2020, the Glorious Sun School of Business and Management of Donghua University and the German Technical University of Reutlingen, jointly held the 2nd Chinese-German Textiles and Fashion Seminar online. During the seminar, teachers and students from both sides discussed the impact and changes of the epidemic on the fashion industry in China and Germany during the epidemic, and looked forward to the development of the fashion industry in China and Germany after the epidemic. Our faculty member Shen Bin and students Qiu Yuxuan, Zhou Ziyun and Yuan Yiqiao made a theme report for the seminar from the perspective of the Chinese fashion industry: “How will COVID-19 affect global fashion business? Insights from China”，“The impacts of COVID-19 on luxury fashion retailing channel”, “The impacts of COVID-19 on mass fashion industry”, “The impacts of COVID-19 on fashion manufacturing and production”. Nearly 100 teachers and students from both schools attended the seminar and the discussions were lively.
